Kaden discovered his passion for racing at just three years old. It started with watching NASCAR and quickly turned hands-on when his grandfather put him on a John Deere tractor and let him drive it around the yard. After weaving through trees with surprising control, his grandfather turned and said, “We have a driver on our hands.”
By age four, Kaden was drawing chalk ovals in the driveway and racing imaginary laps for hours at a time. It was clear this wasn’t just a phase. On September 14, 2014, at just five years old, he got his first real race car—an open-wheel Microd #88.
When he first got strapped in, he said he’d only do two laps. Twenty laps later, he climbed out and said he loved it. That moment sealed the deal.
Kaden entered his first races in 2015. While he showed natural speed, racing in traffic was a learning curve. After competing in the season opener and finale—and spending countless hours practicing in between—he made a huge leap, even battling the track champion in his final race. From there, things took off. Over the next few years, Kaden collected 20+ wins and multiple Microd track championships.
At age eight, he moved up to an INEX Bandolero. He dominated the division, winning the New York State Championship every year he competed. In his final season, he captured the Northeast Bandit Championship. During those years, the family traveled extensively, racing at tracks like Bethel Motor Speedway (his home track), Evergreen Raceway, Chemung Speedrome, Charlotte Motor Speedway (both oval and road course), Atlanta Motor Speedway, and Citrus County Speedway in Florida.
Midway through the 2021 season, after another win at Evergreen Raceway, the decision was made to sell the Bandolero and move into a full-size race car.
Kaden transitioned into a 602 Sportsman Modified and competed in five races in 2021. He quickly adapted to the increased speed and power, showing strong potential while the team worked through setup challenges. In 2022, he continued developing at Evans Mills Raceway Park. By mid-season, he was running mid-pack and eventually earned his first heat race win.
Late in the season, Kaden was involved in a severe head-on crash that destroyed the car. Determined to finish the year, he made a simple social media post—not expecting much. Within 24 hours, the track owner offered him a car to compete in the final points race and the John Burr Classic. Kaden accepted and made the most of the opportunity, winning his heat race and finishing the season 10th in points, earning the “Young Gun Award.”
In 2023, Kaden returned stronger. He opened the season at Mahoning Valley Speedway, a tight quarter-mile bullring, where he impressed by charging from 13th to 6th in a 21-car field. Back at Evans Mills, he continued building momentum with multiple top-five finishes. Then, on August 20, 2023, at just 14 years old, Kaden scored his first feature win in the Sportsman Modified division. He narrowly missed fifth in points by a single point, finishing sixth overall in a highly competitive field.
The 2024 season had its ups and downs, but Kaden still managed a win and a 10th-place finish in points and picking up his second modified win.
In 2025, the team came out strong—finishing 3rd in the opener and 2nd in the next three races. Despite a mid-season slump, Kaden remained consistent, finishing in the top 10 in all but two races. A key addition mid-season was a new spotter, Ed, who brought fresh insight and ideas. While the team held steady in points, they saved a new setup for the John Burr Classic.
It paid off.
Starting 10th in a 75-lap feature, Kaden methodically worked his way through the field. By lap 31, he took the lead—and never gave it up.
At just 16 years old, Kaden captured the John Burr Classic, the biggest asphalt modified race in Northern New York.
